Anyone get this to work on the ip5s? Downloaded it but can't get it to work.

I just tried it on my 5 running 7.06 and I cant even find anything anywhere in settings to make it work at all--so I just removed it for now lol

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of how this works?

This is essentially an iWidget. iWidget should also have installed. The way iWidget works is that once you have iWidgets installed you press and hold on a blank spot on your screen. You'll then get a choice of which iWidget you want to put on the Springboard. Set your options and add.

There's nothing in the Settings app because this is all done through iWidgets. BTW, an iWidget is merely HTML, CSS and Javascript code.

If you want to edit any of it you can find the installed iWidgets in var/mobile/Library/iWidgets

I'm new to iOS. What is iWidget? Does it allow you to added wigets to the homescreen as if it was on Android OS? Where can I get it?
Assuming you are jailbroken, you download iWidget from Cydia. It's a tweak.

If you aren't jailbroken, you have to jailbreak to get it. And yes, it allows you to add small snippets of HTML/CSS/JS code to your homescreen.

I never really used Android. I was on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro from 2009 to 2012 and flip phones before that, so I don't know if this behavior is anything like Android or not.

Thanks, yea I had no idea thats how it worked lol--I will give it another shot

Works now--It would be nice if it was on the lock screen as well? Anyway to do that?

Yes, but I've never tried. I use Forecast on my lockscreen. I think another tweak is involved.

Just updated to the newest version and Now All I get is the time--NO weather info will come up ---Hmmmmm

Anyone else have this issue??

Delete the widget off the homescreen and then add it back again. You can delete it by placing your icons in wiggle mode. You'll see a giant "X" by the top left of the widget. Press that and it will go away.

I think he/she meant the iPhone 5s not the iPhone 5.. iPhone 5S can't run iOS 6.
Right, but the tweak was tested on iOS 7.x and not iOS 6.x. I guess I made the assumption that since it was working on iOS 7 it was therefore working on the 5S. Of course, as you've just pointed out, one does not necessarily follow the other.

I fixed it, he went with that weird code off Yahoo (7 digit code) instead of just a Zipcode which to me is far more simpler, dont know the reason for it.....

I just wish he would give us the option to have it show on lock-screen as well if we wanted it.

First yes iWidgets are like widgets in android.

Next you need to set your weather location manually because most of these iWidgets can't access the GPS. I use iFile to edit the iWidget to set the location. Example in the HTC One iWidget you have to edit the options.plist to set the city code. Sounds complicated but keep at you will get. Maybe I will install it so I can help you further.

Like I said earlier, I think that's a whole different tweak. Coding for the homescreen may be different than for the lockscreen, IDK. I think LockHTML is the tweak I am thinking of.

In any case, this tweak is now off my update list. The dev had 24hr time coded in, but no option to set it, so I modified the html code to display it before he released his update that enabled the 24hr time option.

I'm on a ip5s with 7.0.4 installed. I had this awhile back on my JB 4s and would like to get it back. Can someone that has it on there home screen do a tutorial on how this works. On 6.0 it was on spring board. Thanks

I had a different one a while back too, another iWidget. But it was a serious battery drainer/memory hog.

This one seems to work quite well without taking much system resources.

it's great right, nice and simple. I never pinpointed it but either jellylock or 77 lockscreen 1 was killing the battery, lost about 2 hours of usage.
