i'm more interested in lock screen widgets. would be nice to get dash clock back there.
Once it goes to 4.2.2, you will be able to, no?
i was pointing out another benefit i was looking forward to in android 4.2, which wasn't mentioned in the op.
You'll also be able to long-press home button for Menu. I'm not sure how that will work with Google Now though.

Why not long press the back button? That's a bizarre decision by HTC... what the heck.

You swipe up from the home button for Google Now in 4.2.2

Not that bizarre, it was that way with the One X, One S, One SV, One XL etc..
That was before Google now though no?
So if long press home becomes menu what will Google now be?

I'm using CM10.1 (Android 4.2.2) and using the home button in lieu of onscreen buttons is so nice. Although I don't like how on my tablet, swiping down from the left of the status bar opens the notification drawer while from the right opens the toggles. why not unify them?
battery % indicator is not part of 4.2.2.....
unless I am missing something (looks like it is part of sense)
Any ideas when this will be available on HTCOne devices in the UK?
