Phones HTC One first charge?

Hi everybody, maybe it's a stupid question, but I just want to be sure. I just got my HTC One and I have some questions about the battery charging

1 - Do I need to make a full cycle charge for the first charging
2- It is dangerous for the battery to pluging in all night
3- How much times can I use my phone without recharging

3. Utterly dependant on your usage. In all likelihood as its a new device, your usage will be higher in first few days. If your a heavy gamer expect to charge it during the day and night, if your a modest customer (few text messages and few calls) then you may get two full days before need for charging. But if your the average user basically you'll get a day and then stick it in to charge when you go to bed.

And no. Its not dangerous or damaging to leave the phone in charge at bedtime. Its what vast majority of users do.

Nope. In fact it's better for Li-Polymer battery to keep topping by charging overnight.

To add to question number 3, I am an average user (text, internet, play some basic games, facebook, twitter, etc.) and I only get 2-3 hours of screen time per charge. That is not that great....

So an average battery time of 16hr 57mins based on your usage is bad ? In what smartphone world is that bad ?

Screen-on time, taken on its own is not reflective of when a phone is being used. A phone is accessing a myriad of background tasks when the screen if off too.

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the phone. I just think I am going to invest in a couple mini USB cables to keep with me for my car and work.

I know, I just don't think your battery life is terrible, but if you feel you need to charge in the car or at work then do so, but have you actually run out of battery at any stage yet during a day ?

Turn off GPS, and any unnecessary auto-sync apps. Use the Power saving mode and that should help save your battery life. Also, tone down the use of data consuming widgets, those are battery killers for sure. When not on Wi-Fi, turn it off.
