Since my contract is up, I've decided to make the bold move of switching from AT&T to Verizon. I'm a long-time iPhone user, and I love my iPhone 5 to bits - so the latest and greatest iPhone 6 would be a no-brainer for me.

However, I'm also no stranger to the wonderful world of Android. I've owned a Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S3, and HTC EVO 3D, Motorla Atrix HD, etc. I haven't owned an Android handset for about three years, but I'm really tempted to switch back.

Obviously, there are plenty of top-noch Android phones to pick from: HTC One M8, LG G3, Motorola Nexus 6, and Sony Xperia Z3 just to name a few. The HTC One M8 is the most tempting of the bunch, and it's my #1 contender alongside the iPhone 6.

I know the pros and cons of both phones, so that's not an issue. I was just curious if anyone on the forums had any positive/negative experiences with either phone that they'd be willing to share.

Thanks.

If you wait a month or so, you could add the glaxy s6 and the HTC one m9 to your choices. Sounds like either would be worth the wait.

Personally, Samsung isn't my favorite Android OEM. Regardless of the changes that they made to their hardware and software with the Galaxy S6, Samsung is still Samsung - bloated and convoluted.

In terms of the HTC One M9, it will probably be a difficult phone to snag on release day - and Verizon tends to have inconsistent prices with their EDGE program. In fact, the M9 might wind up being more expensive than the iPhone 6 when all said and done.
