I was an iPhone 4S user for a while then moved to android(HTC ONE XL with aviate skin) just to try the platform

using this device for almost 3-4 weeks and love the big screen hate the sense keyboard

anyway

I need help on android notifications my HTC doesn't get notifications while the screen is turned off, I mostly use mobile data to sync, when I turn the screen on I see that the mobile data icon is gone and if I unlock , the icon will come up and at the same time wattsup, mail and other app notifications will lineup ?

are there any fix for this bug ?
I found that its fixed in JB4.3 but I doubt my htc will get that soon

concerning the keyboard just download another from the market place. Google's is pretty good , there are lots of others though.

hate the sense keyboard

Download a different keyboard. I recommend the Google Keyboard. It's free and supports swype.

Some people prefer SwiftKey.. It isn't free though.
