HTML Mail not Rendering since Sierra

Hi all,

This is a duplicate of someone else's post from a couple of weeks ago (Veonix Rising) but since there were no answers I thought I'd try.

Since upgrading to Sierra some HTML emails (one from Backblaze tonight) are not rendering the HTML, but are displaying as the HTML source. It isn't every HTML email, and it isn't a daily occurrence. Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening and what could be done to stop it from happening? I know Apple historically haven't been a fan of HTML email but I doubt they'd deliberately break it. Would they?

All was perfectly fine on El Cap, it's the upgrade to Sierra that has brought this issue.

Hm, it is working in my Mail, so it is not broken generally, some setting is likely incorrect or the html is not to Mail liking?

I have lots of problems with macOS Mail, but this is not one of them.

Cheers. After reading the first guy's thread more closely I've tried rebuilding the mailbox. It didn't work the first time but I ran it again (more out of desperation than anything else) and it seems to have corrected the issue. For now anyway. However, Voenix Rising said in their case they'd tried this and other methods and it didn't help. I'm sure they'd appreciate people stopping by the thread and helping out if anyone has any ideas.
