I am having an 'issue' with HTML email in Mail. Every once and a while recently an email will look like this (the pictures never load and their frames are always pink:confused: ):

what kind of internet connection do you have? if you are using dial-up and auto-disconnect after you check for new messages, when you try to display, the html emails will look outside of your computer for the images.

the only other way i see this happening is when the remote server with the images is not responding. but that seems odd for one of apple's servers to do.

That has nothing to do with mail.

It is either the server that the images are on isnt responding or just bad code in the email.

A common problem with bulk email is that when you send a email to fifty thousand people or so and so many opeople are reading it at the same time you can max out the connections on the server. Many companies do not invest in the propper hardware infrastucture and this is a result.

Its not you bro

Apple's mail program has always been poor when deisplaying HTML. v1.3 is supposed to fix this.
