Can anyone recommend a good html editor...

I'm html-DEficient.. and am a former Frontpage user....

If someone could recommend a good app for Mac OS X I would apprecaite it.

We can all feel the pain with you - for the FrontPage, that is. :(

But could I direct your attention to the Web Development area, where you will find pro's and con's on about anything that runs on the Mac for html editing.

While some may (and will) come to you and tell you to learn how to handcode, I can feel the pain of learning alien language.

You might want to try nvu, or the built-in editor found in seamonkey.

Eventually, when you feel more comfortable, it's always a good idea to move to the down and dirty guts of working on the files directly. In that case, I'd suggest smultron or the more lightweight taco.

Nvu is the best if I understand what you're looking for. And you support the open source community. check out the site for tons of resources, see if it's for you. I built my site with this in like 30 minutes, plus included the banner that they host so they know how many people visit Nvu sites. It's cute once you figure out the quirks in the interface.

Eagan here :)

and thank you everyone, Got lots of info and things to look at now :)

While eventually I will figure out HTML, the WYSIWYG interface definitly helps out now so I can "plop" things together :)
