HTPC Mini & 1080P

Hey!

I'm one of those pondering buying a c2d mini to use as a HTPC.
But, and that's a big but.. do they handle 1080p material?
I.e. can they play normal downloaded h/x264 stuff.
I've heard a regular, non laptop, 1,83ghz c2d can handle it with about 80% cpu load using windows, coreavc & mpc.
But then the minis use laptop cpus with a slower fsb(I guess they're not even merom, since they're still using gma 940, so no 800 only 667 fsb).

So if there are any owners of new c2d minis out there willing to test, please report results here!

New c2d mini's are merom based, just that theyre the slower 667fsb variant rather than the 800mhz variant on the new mbp

You should look at the HD testing in some articles Macworld published when the Intel Minis first came out:

Based on this, it sounds like the 1.66 Core Duo could play back HD h.264 with little to no frame dropping. So I don't think either of the Core 2 Duos would have a problem.
