Hi..

Im on a limited broadband plan, where each MB counts.

Earlier, when I was working on PC, I used some firewalls, which used to notify me and cut out all the connections, which tries to connect to the internet.

Now, on iMac, I have got a huge bill of 2500$ for this month and just installed iStat Pro .

Now, when i switched on the iMac and checked on iStat Pro for live reading , it runs like hell.

Im doing nothing, and its 300mb in 2 hours.

My apps running are ADIUM, SKYPE, MAIL, FIREFOX (no live browsing going on, just localhost MAMP).

I dont know, wtf is using this data. All I know is, I have to pay this 2500$ now for this stupid thing, which I cant even track.

I have installed Little Snitcher , but no good.

F**k.

Close all applications. Does it still use 300MB in 2 hours?

Open apps one by one, waiting in between each to check network usage. You should be able to find the one taking your bandwidth.

Also, go to accounts - login items. Delete everything there, do a clean reboot and don't start any app except dashboard for iStat.
