Hello, I have been visiting MacRumors.com for ages now. But its just today I have registered so that I can post a thread on an issue that i have had for some time.

So here we go..

I have been living in Switzerland for more than 5 years and I had my iTunes account registered with Swiss store. Its been a year I have moved back to my home country Azerbaijan and as soon as I moved here I change my Swiss account to US account using the same ID which I preciously had. While using Swiss account i had my swiss credit card registered with my account, but while changing from Swiss to US i removed my CC info and was using US redeem cards quite successfully. Ever since iTunes matches service was launched i had the privilege to subscribe but i failed to do so due to the fact that i did not have US credit card. I bought MasterCard gift card for $25.00 and when trying to register that gift card i encountered a message to contact Apple support to proceed with the purchase, so i did. I received email from them stating "I am sorry to hear that you cannot make purchases. Again, there are violations to the iTunes Terms of Sale on this account, and because of this, there is a block on the account that cannot be removed by Apple's security group. My apologies, but we are unable to provide further information regarding this." also, " iTunes Store now considers this case closed to further discussion and any more emails pertaining to this exact request will go unanswered." Recently i tried to change back to Swiss account but my CC is not authorized for some reason. Most probably, since i have moved back to Azerbaijan i have no longer billing address tied to my swiss CC.
Additionally i opened Azerbaijani iTunes Store account, and emailed iTunes support asking about availability of iTunes match service in Azerbaijani store and the response was that they have no clear date or any info what so ever on the availability of this service. So as you can see I'm pretty much stuck here.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you all very much in advance.

iTunes Match is primarily a cloud service and you need speed and bandwidth to get the most out of it. Do Azerbaijan ISPs have this?

Yes, of course. My ISP is currently providing me with 24 mbps with actual download speed of 1.5-2 mb/s. And as of 2012 they promised to increase actual download speed.

Basically what I want to find out is, is there any way I can subscribe to iTunes match service? Weather it would mean opening new account or using my old account for subscription, I don't mind. What are the choices I have?

Your options appear limited. Given the App Store only recently launched in AZ, I think it will be many (many) months until iTunes Match officially launches. I'd guess late 2012, maybe 2013. You are correct that you would need a Swiss credit card (with Swiss address) to use your Swiss account.

Some people use pre-paid USD iTunes vouchers and a fictious US address to setup and fund a US iTunes account (ignoring the fact that this is forbidden by iTunes T&Cs).
