Not on the M2 but it can work with the laptop closed with the M3 MacBook Air. So all Apple silicon MBAs can do only 2 displays. But only the M3 can do 2 externals.
I'm having the same problem as the original poster. I'm wondering if I need to buy a 49-inch wide curved monitor to compensate. Does anyone have any suggestions?
