Hi all

I got a hypothetical/silly question and I'm a noob when it comes to these things. They say on phones unused apps can drain battery life and slow the phone down.

Can the same be said for laptop/MacBook hypothetically? I got a Macbook 13'' Pro (2017) model. And I noticed at times when I am web browsing the battery drains quicker than it's supposed to - using Brave browser.

Thanks in advance

Check your apps running in the background. Either on your Menu Bar or on the Force Quit Menu.

Brave is a chromium based browser so I'd say like chrome, brave may the problem, i.e., chrome can and will use up more energy and Brave based on that could be guilty as well.

Try using Safari for a day and see if things improve
