I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my existing hard drive to a new larger one, and got 4 errors for 'bad files/bad spots' on the source drive. Funny thing is that HD Utility says 'Hey, dude. Nothing's wrong here'.

Is there a utility that can do a 'surface scan' on the drive and see if there are actual errors, and possibly 'fix' them, or a way to have Apple's HD utility do it? I'm kinda bummed as a couple of the 'bad' files are ones that I kinda wanted to hang on to.

Thanks for any assistance!

DiskWarrior's the one! Industry standard for this sort of thing. :)
