I added Tricker3g, but I am not seeing an icon

should I be seeing an icon? My phone still shows my home network and when I shut that off and go to 3g I get an error message from sling saying:

slingplayer can not connect to your slingbox. Please make sure your phone and slingbox are connected to the internet and try again.

I know that my slingbox is on the internet because I am able to pull up sling on my laptop and watch tv.

I know that my iphone is on the network because I can pull up a website and navigate.

What I don't know is why my sling box doesn't see this Tricker3g... oh, and why don't I see it either?

Its not a touchable app, runs in background.
 
I have the same problem it works on wifi but not on tricker.I even went in via ftp to check to see if the sling string was there and it was so I am at a loss. Any help???

You might try Slingcommunity.net for help, they have an iphone/itouch section
 
iPhone 3gs does not work with current verison

every time I run sling or app store it just exits back to spring board.

Used purplra1nrc2 to jailbreak phone.
