Hey,
I am looking for a cable strap that gets attached to the cable (never leaves the cable).
It is basically the strap you usually have with your long laptop charger, it has a hole to attach the cable and a Velcro to tie the strap when needed. I can't find something similar on Amazon.com.

This drives my wife crazy but for years I have been buying the hook and loop style from Monoprice and attaching them to cables so they just never get lost. Makes me feel not as crazy that someone else has had the same idea!
