The interesting thing to me is that I made that video last night right before going to sleep and today it is on gizmodo.com. Had I not made that video...
The other interesting thing will be to see how much of an effect this has on my sales. I already see a ******** of traffic to my site. Will iFight kick iFarts ass? Only time will tell.

@jmccullough108 Thanks for the review! Latest version has 5 sounds though :)

@neiltc13, me too! I see that it entered the top 100 of entertainment. It's not just gizmodo though, i just googled it and found a whole bunch of other blogs about it. Who would have though.

Fantastic? how about 18,600 views so far in the US version. It is also in the spanish Gizmodo.es version but that one does not show view count. I did notice that the spanish version embeded my youtube video which won the Honors Award for #25 most viewed in entertainment today in Spain!

I wonder what would happen if Arn posted it on the front page of MC.

Thanks to the publicity from Gizmodo now there is a Clone of iFight for the Tmobile G1. They call it "Air Fight" I guess it's a good thing since he is referencing my video for those who dont know what iFight is.

Thanks guys, I hope you bought mine and not the imitation.

It was just pointed out to me that there is a new copycat of iFight for the iPhone. Namely iFight!
Pisses me off that this guy had the nerve to use the same name and cash in on my marketing efforts. And he wants $2.99 for it! Cant believe that apple would allow an exclamation point to differentiate two app names.

Really? iFight! ... so "!" and it's an entirely "new" app ... wow - that's nuts ... will make sure to point that out ... "don't be fooled by imitators, iFight!, only get the ORIGINAL fighting application, iFight.

So is someone coming out with Tingalin! ;) ... that's whack! :(

Thats totally lame. I am not going to sit here and act like iFight is the best thing since sliced bread but it is a pretty original idea and lots of people seem to like it. I dont mind so much that this guy took the idea but the name! There are thousands of things he could have named it.

Sorry to tell you, but if your app is written in 10 minutes, expect imitations. simple economics.

Like I said, I don't care if they copy the functionality. I am well aware of the consequences of a simple app. But what is the point of a 2 month review process from Apple if they are going to allow a duplicate named app with an exclamation point being the only difference. Try to put out a product called Nike! and see what happens. Yes I am aware of trademarks but you would think that Apple would offer some protection. How about calling it iFight part two, iFight the copy, iFight the ....

By the way, it did not take 10 minutes to make iFight. Coding, Graphics, Sounds all original and all made by me. Sounds alone took well over a couple of days.
