LOL I have all variants of the official Apple Watch bands - as well as a lot of variants from third-parties - and the Sport Loops are by far the most comfortable and versatile. I can work out with them as well as wear them to work.

Each to their own. Which is why Apple - and third parties - make so many different styles of bands.

Love my Sport Loop! Yeah it's probably not the best looking band, but it is by far the most comfortable.

It’s nice but I don’t think it is worth the price Apple is charging either.

Sport band feels gross and the leather options are too expensive for my tastes.

The woven nylon bands were great but those are now dead.

Well, I cannot argue with any opinion you have of the sport loops but I find after a few days they change their feel, if that makes any sense. I have two and I wear either one of them about 99.9% of the time. S

I resisted them for a while. I wasn't wild about the up close appearance much at all, especially with the first releases. I bought one anyhow and tried it. Initially, it felt a bit coarse but that eventually went away and I then began to appreciate the extreme comfort of them. Since then they have made many more loops which I find more aesthetically appealing but the comfort is what's made them really grow on me. I also like the reflective offerings from Nike as that's a little bit of added flash when riding my bike in the evenings.

Now purely aesthetically speaking, metal, leather and sport bands still look the best IMHO. The leather loops are amazing, nice they dropped the price on them as well.

Sport bands are the only ones I use. I have yet to see a sport loop that looks good outside the Apple Store. They just look cheap to me. I could care less if they are comfy.

Water and sweat resistants are the main reason I love the sport band. I have been using it during my workout, shower after workout and work. To me, it is comfortable, simple and very convenient for my daily life. I could care less if it looks ugly.

Sport loops are not supposed to look nowhere like NATO straps, it's like comparing apples to oranges. While sport loops look unaesthetic they are surprisingly confortable and absorb all the sweat your wrist can throw at it. And them being light and relatively soft to touch make them the perfect work out companion.

Most of the sport loops certainly do look cheap and they don't suit the watch in my opinion. The combination of the loop and aluminium watch really look low budget, which is a shame in light of the cost of the items.

Re: water and sweat. Oh gosh, no, the Sport Band isn't better for this. The Sport Band traps sweat and has limited adjustment. The Sport Loop breathes, is quick-drying and can be adjusted to meet my needs.

Saying you could care less surely means that you could actually care less than you currently do and it’s therefore something that does bother you?

Thanks. Our work uses the term ‘near miss’ so it’s something I’ve gotten used to saying but I do see what you mean. I always interpreted a near miss as meaning it was a miss but it nearly wasn’t.
