With Big Sur on an 19,1 iMac, no issue burning CDs w my OWC Burner, but reading older CDs gives me a com.apple.diskmount.dis error 49153. Why?

How old is the OWC burner?

Are the problem CDs burned (not commercial CDs), and were they burned on THIS OWC burner?
Do any recently burned CDs not read -- or are the non-mounting CDs only older CDs?
Have you tried any kind of cleaning on the burner (even something like a few "puffs" from a can-o-air (always handy to keep a can around for a quick "blow")

I can read and copy from any old CD I have burned by me or not on my OWC DVD Player, IF I am using Mojave. If I try to open older CD's which opened in Mojave, but on Big Sur. No the error occurs.

Well, I don't understand what happened, but I (Method #1) successfully mounted two old CDs and grabbed their contents in Big Sur. However, the patching stopped working as I can't mount anything afterwards. So, will try Method #2.
