So I was rolling to the airport today to do some of my aviation photography when this rolled by me from the Mall of America. Of course with photography involving a camera, I had one with and did my best to capture the train.

i seem to remember someone from australia or new zealand posting a picture like this, of a train with iPod ads on it. its a cool concept, though like others have said, i wish they'd advertise some other products too

I too find them old. But what else could they do that new exciting and different
Well, Apple is always exclaiming "Think Different" - they should be able to come up with something, perhaps something related to computing even. :D

The iPod ads are so distinctive and well-branded, I think Apple will continue using them for a while. They've invested a lot of money building that image, so, why throw it away so soon? Kellogs won't be throwing away Tony the Tiger anytime soon, and he's been around much longer.

Who knows. The voice of Tony the Tiger just died recently...

And now for the full effect:

Inverted iPod Ad
I am not sure If I am missing something here or not.. I tried to play the file and quicktime told me I "may experience problems because the required compressor could not be found".. I am thinking this is because I am a windows user and do not yet have access to QT7, does this sound feasable??? I went ahead and chose to play it anyway and it had the sound of the current "Technology" ad with a plain white screen.. That in and of itself is kinda funny considering the thread but somehow I think I should be seeing more...

Works well for me (Tiger, Quicktime 7.1). The link pretty much explains itself, it's the iTunes ad with inverted colours. :)

That is actually the first time I've seen an iPod ad somewhere other than the TV. I agree that the current silhouettes are getting old.
