I canNOT get Twitter to show up in Notification Center

I've tried everything I can think of as well as searching the similar threads in this forum and I still can't get it to show up.

WTF am I doing wrong?

I can't get Twitter or Instagram to show up for me. After waiting an hour I opened the apps and both had updates. I never received a sound or notification. I've tried with the apps closed as well as open and in the app switcher.

Everything seems set up in the Notifications setting. I have them turned on and set to show on the lock screen. Email, texts and phone calls have worked well with Notification Center. Maybe I'm not understanding how this is mean't to work with the other two apps.

Twitter shows up on the lock screen for me but once I unlock it, the status are considered read and will disappear.

Ya that makes perfect sense. If you were to get all tweets from people you "follow" then an idevice would pretty much notify you all the time. I'd say it's just as the other poster said, just messages and mentions.

I saw that thread when I did my prequisite forum search prior to posting.

I'm getting bubkis, nada, nil
