I've never had 2GB before, but for $34 a GB, how can you not :eek:

My wife couldn't figure out a good father-to-be gift for me. I explained to her that I would be doing a lot of video editing on the laptop once my boy comes along, so extra memory would be great! I looked it up for her and such....I was extremely surprised to see the current prices! I was going to go for 1GB, but for the price...it was easy to talk her into 2GB :cool: I think I will notice just a bit of difference going from 512MB to 2GB on this 2ghz core duo macbook :p
 
I'm wating for the price of 2gb modules for MBPs to come down, here in the UK. I'd like this machine to be maxed out to 3gb. They seem to be about the same price in pounds as they are in dollars which effectively means double the price over here... maybe in another twelve months time or so.
