When I turnon my macbook pro (current el capitan version) and hold down option, I get taken to a screen with Mac and windows. When I click mac, it takes me to a black screen with a white no entry circle with a slash icon. I Have tried everything. Held command + r, I tried to do internet recovery but it won't let me connect to the internet. It gives an error after sitting on the spinning globe screen for a few minutes.

I went into control panel by running msconfig and set mac as the default startup but I still get the no entry circle with a slash icon. I'm fine with wiping everything but the point is that I need to have bootcamp installed for work so that I can have mac and windows.

When I installed bootcamp, I followed the install directions from Apple's site and used bootcamp assistant app in my apps folder on my mac. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

I'm so lost. It seems I'm completely locked out of mac side but my hard drive partition for mac still exists and I can see it when I go to disk management on windows side.

Any suggestions?
