I am going crazy. I can't seem to decide which generation of ipod nano I want, and I've tried searching the forum. I primarily would be using it for listening to music, so the second gen seems like the right fit right? However, I love the cosmetics of the new ipod nano and the fact that the hold button is on the bottom. I can't stand the UI of the third gen though. Plus, I am scared that it is too fragile for me. I dropped my second gen ipod countless times, and it put up with a lot of abuse. Can someone please help me out with this? Price isn't really too big of a deal since I'm buying refurbished.

The 3rd gen is fantastic. Personally I would never even consider the 2nd gen now that I have used the 3rd gen for the last 3 months or so.

the third gen is a work of art... and im even liking the ui... i think this question is obvious but thats just me
