Hey guys -
I cannot get my mobile me to sync with my iPhone(contacts). When I got my new iPhone, I plugged it in and then iTunes synced everything perfectly. But when I put in my mobile me stuff (because mail was saying something like, wrong password, re enter it in mail settings) it erased all of my contacts. I can't get it back.

Yes, my itunes says "my contacts are being synced over the air using mobile me"??

Thank you,

Josh

This happened to me once, one second everything was fine, the next they all got erased. I just added them all back in.

I also don't have my bookmarks. Both my bpokmarks and contacts are on my mac but not on my iPhone, even after I setup MobileMe on my phone. Please. Help?

it sounds like you need to configure and sync your computer with mobile me first and then once thats done it should auto sync with your iphone. did you ever setup automatic syncing to mobile me?

What do I have to do with my mac?

go to preferences and then the mobile me tab. you can choose to setup what info you want to sync to mobile me. If you don't have this setup you have no info on mobile me, no bookmarks, no contacts, no nothing, so when it syncs, it sees nothing and thus erases your iphone. tell mobile me to automatically sync whatever info you want it to and go from there. if you need any more help just ask.

I tried it and nothing. I logged out and re logged in and nothing, it did ask me if I wanted to "merge all data" i said yes, etc.

My iphone still is not synced, no bookmarks or contacts?

Thank you so much though, Justin and everyone else. Anything else??

go to me.com and login and look under the contacts section and make sure they synced. sometimes if you don't setup the syncing right they won't sync right away but instead later that day/night. If you see the contacts there go on the iphone and go to mail preferences and turn off contact syncing and then turn it back on just to refresh the phone and see if that works.

Thanks a lot, man. It's working now. My email In my phone had to be all lowercase. I was capitalizing the first letter and last letter of my name.
