I have a whole bunch of .mpg videos on my powerbook that i just transfered from my pc and none of them work. I downloaded both windows media player and divx, and they still arent playing. Are there any codecs out there that will fix my problem? thanks.

Go to http://www.versiontracker.com/ and download VLC (Video Lan Client) it should play about 95% of your .mpg/.mpeg files. It also will handle most .avi's without problem. I have even gone so far on my machine to reassociate all .mpg/.mpeg/.avi files to use VLC automaticly, it saves a lot of headaches.
