I can't install win7 on Imac 2011 (21.5-inch)
I bought the Imac and the Windows 7 was installed.
After five years, I had to remove the windows 7 from boot camp
I did that, and update to the mac os to El capitan - fresh installed
After that I tried all the ways to install Windows 7 from boot camp without result
I need help ..... I wasted my time

What error or issue are you having specifically.
The steps needed to install windows, are
1. Have the windows DVD handy so the bootcamp assistant can access it.
2. Run the boot camp assistant to partition the drive.
3. Reboot the computer with the windows DVD (for those iMacs equipped with an optical drive)
4. Within the Windows installer, reformat the bootcamp partition to NTFS (bootcamp assistant formats it to FAT, Windows requires NTFS).
5. After the windows installation, install the bootcamp drivers.

Where in that list, is your attempt failing and what error message.

In step no.3
3. Reboot the computer with the windows DVD (for those iMacs equipped with an optical drive)
black screen with this message:
No bootable device -- insert boot disc and press any key

I've tried an external usb dvd drive and Apple USB SuperDrive
and still the same error doesn't recognise the windows install disc

I did not experience this error earlier on other macs like macbook pro and macbook air

Is this an actual Windows DVD, or a burned copy?

Could the disk be dirty or scratched?

Its possible that the internal optical drive is not functioning, and AFAIK, you cannot install windows from an external optical drive, which is why when you tried it with a USB DVD drive it failed.

I've tried burned copy and my Orginal DVD still the same (insert boot disc and press any key)
from internal optical and Apple USB SuperDrive, I've tried them both
I'm loosing my mind:mad:
