like the title says,i don't think i have enough posts yet. this is just a feeler.how much do you guys think i can get for my tibook 400mhz,80gighd,1ghz ram,tiger.the battery will give you about 3 hrs .it has a crack on the leftside where you plug in your headphones and the paint is chipped and it's missing it's rubber feets,and theres scratches on the bottom.thanks

Personally, I don't see the problem if it is a question about how much a particular item is worth in order to sell it elsewhere. If you don't have 100 posts but would MR members' advice about what the asking price of your machine should be, I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to ask in a different forum.

Thahater isn't actually offering his computer for sale in this thread, he's just asking for pricing advice as far as I can see. I'm afraid I can't help with US pricing though.

I agree Lau. My initial thought was wasteland, but there's really nothing wrong with asking something along these lines.

The best advice I can give as to the price, is have a look on ebay to get a bit of an idea. Your Ti Book could go for a few hundred if you ask me.

thank you lou and max.one thing i notice about this forum is that alot of the members like to give there 2cents just because.i know about the faq and i read it.thank you.if you dont have anything nice to say why say anything at all .or offer a solution without the sarcasim.
