At some point earlier this year, my MBP 18,4 stopped sending or receiving green texts to and from non-Apple devices.

It seems to have stopped maybe in June. Perhaps this coincides with an OS update?

My iPhone continues to send and receive them. I text most often using my iPhone, but I noticed it today when I tried to text someone from the computer and got the "not delivered" message.

There may be some setting that I've missed.

Any thoughts about how to get them working again?

Life saver. In Settings/Messages I found “Text Message Forwarding”.

Didn’t expect that to do what it do but indeed I could choose to forward to my Mac.

Thanks. That worked. I appreciate it.

There actually were three sliders labeled "MacBook Pro." I own two of them. Just out of curiosity, why are there three listed, and why don't they differentiate which computer is which?

Each device should show up based on their name with the device type (e.g., iPad, Mac) beneath in parentheses.

You may own two MBPs now but, perhaps, you replaced one and didn’t remove it from your account.
