I can't Stream photos anymore???

Hey all -

So from what I understand, in order for my purchases made through my Apple TV, I have to choose to Sync to my computer.

However, once I'm sync'd it doesn't seem like I'm able to Stream my photos... I can only view photos that are Sync'd.

Is this true, or am I missing something???

I don't want to sync my content, i have too much.... I have it all on an huge external drive serving up to my computers in the house.

So is there a way that I can both get my purchased content automatically sync'd back to my main computer AND be able to stream my photos?

I hope I'm just doing something wrong.

Will the following work for you?

Sync to iTunes and use "Automatic" so that your entire library will show up. Under photos, choose the option to sync photos before other content.

You should then have all your photos synced to the ATV and everything else will show up under your "My xxx" section and will play from local or streamed depending on whether it happened to be cached on the ATV or not. You shouldn't care as it will all just show up.

Yeah, I'll give that a try.

I just wish they left the streaming alone, so I don't have to sync anything if I don't want to.

It's an extra step I didn't have to take before if I wanted to view photos or music vids.
