I downgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5.0.1 with ifaith, jailbroke it,installed corona 5.0.1 untether from cydia and it works but when I turn off the iphone, cydia crashes which means that the jailbreak is tethered, but when I reboot, cydia works.

I forgot to say that I have cydia 1.1.3 and I used redsn0w 0.9.10b1 and I have 4 important updates from cydia to do.

what do you mean by cydia crashes when you turn the iphone off?

i don't see what the difference between turning off + turning back up vs a reboot? you should do the updates in cydia

After a reboot with ncsettings, cydia works just fine but if i turn off the phone and than on,cydia crashes instantely .

You still have an untethered jailbreak as you are able to turn your device back on without using redsn0w. I'm not too sure what the problem is here. I'm not sure if a hard reset would help but it's worth a try (hold power and home button until apple logo pops up). Alternatively, you can try restoring and rejailbreaking and see if your cydia still does that. Maybe it was a bad cydia installation. Or you can try jailbreaking with a newer version of redsn0w

When you turn off the device and then turn it back on, cydia crashes but does all your other tweaks work?
