iphone...how about a slap on the back for me The only problem I'm having is im using TMOBILE network...when I try to go on the net using safari I get an error message:COULD NOT ACTIVATE CELLULAR DATA NETWORK. YOU ARE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO A CELLULAR DATA SERVICE. Any ideas?

Yeah you need to t-mo settings. You also need to install the APN Editing tool from Cydia.

Here are the T-Mo settings I used to get my friends phone online:

APN: wap.voicestream.com
IP address: 216.155.165.050
Data bearer: GPRS
Username: [none]
Password: [none]
Authentication type: Secure
Connection security: Off


Cant remember how much of this you need.

And oh yeah, I think you need to Call T-mo and tell them you need data access

NO, NO...if you upgraded to 3.0, go to a post in THIS LINK with safari on your phone. You dont need all that other stuff. You wont get tethering though. That was a misprint.
