My macbook pro is on it's way, im like totally stoked, dude.:cool: haha. No, I'm very excited, it seems that I've been officially converted! ! !:D I have you wonderful people to thank.

hey guys thanks...I got the base 1.83 ghz model...and am going to get some more ram in a few days to speed things up a bit...it should arrive on thursday, i rush shipped it :D haha, cant wait

welcome, i also just switched myself a week ago.. and lemme tell you i love the machine.. it is a work of art.. i picked up some memory from frys 2gb worth for 179 + tax... u might wanna look into that ..

I am sure that you will fall in love with your MacBook Pro the moment you boot it up for the first time. :)
 
Is there much of a difference in reality between the rush and the normal ship? ex: if I order tomorrow how long would it take for each delivery option?

Hahaha I know!!! Crazy how that works!! :D Thanks everyone. I ordered it monday night and should get it this afternoon or definitly tomorrow by 4pm. To answer the question a few posts above this... I'm guessing had I not paid for the rush shipping I'd be getting it next week sometime- standard shipping is just so laaaazyyyyy. hah :cool: cant wait!

WELL, it came today and im stoked. Its beautiful, practically flawless, i'm in love and so on and on and on...theres a slight buz z z but its not very loud, no real issues at this point, I'll get some ram in a month, once i get this thing payed off...hahah:D

I'm a very recent switcher too (my first Mac, iMac, came last Monday). I've been using Windows all my life so I'm spooked but so far so good. The comp is fast (I got some extra memory), good looking and very quiet. The wireless set up went fine and I'm having fun exploring Safari. I got myself an iPod too and the iTunes set up went smoothly. I was actually torn between Dell and Apple (I know...) but I am sure now I made the right choice :)

lol...yeah thanks for the good ending...i would have liked the rash idea better...unless your going 17". If so, i understand your thinking.:cool:

so in other news, the notebook gets pretty hot, but not worth SUEING apple for...haha, its not as bad as it seems, though, i'm not a very picky person...the whine really isnt a whine, buzz's once and a while, but....as far as i know machines do that, ...and some people do too...anyway, no complaints...this is the best machine ever (as soon as i get more ram) if anyone wants to ya know, buy me some cause i'm broke, no objections:p
anyway, go buy a mbp if your waiting for the macbook.
(or you could be waiting forever)
