I just ordered my first Mac. I ordered a 1.83 refurb, 512 ram, 80 gig hardrive and 128 megs of vram!!! I am so excited. I can't wait to crack that baby opne. I was so nervous ordering it. Perhaps it was because i just spent 5 months of work! Anyway I am so happy. I would like to thank everyone who helped me around the forums! i have a feeling I will be here for years to come. oh yah, I did standard shipping, how long does it normally take everyone to get theirs?

Sneezing is not that satisfying...

I liken the feeling to being constipated for a few days, until you finally decided that enough is enough and glugged down a can of laxatives. The ooomph comes when the turd is finally expunged :D

Sweet, have you considered upgrading the RAM later? I completely cracked up when I picked up the box at the store. I felt like running around screaming in the middle of the street, and yelling: "Ha! you ******** **** *****! I got a Mac!":D But I didn't, I waited till I got home.:D

I know people think a MacBook Pro is too much for a 15 year old kid. But I had my mind set on this since febuary. I love the satifaction of working for something and not being given something. The bag I ordered should fit everything i need. I'm not a big guy on design, although I do love the design of the MBP and OSX!

Congratulations! You will appreciate it more, because you worked so hard for it. Good stuff :)

Yes I will be upgrading the Ram later.

To how much? 1 GB or 1.5 GB? 1 GB 3rd party RAM is extremely cheap, and is some cases cheaper than 512 MB Apple RAM. If I were you, I'd go for 1 GB i.e. Crucial RAM.:D

You people scare me.

Note that in your sig it says: "I'm 99% sure I can do that on my Mac!"

Oh and, aaron.lee2006. It is gonna rock your face off with 1.5 GB RAM! :D
