I made the switch! I am now on my 2Ghz stock macbook white! It's more than I could have ever expected.

Any tips?

Awesome! Just remember, hold two fingers on the trackpad and press the real button to simulate right click, the top row of function keys are your friends, and press command (the apple key) and space and enter the name of anything on your computer that you want to open, and it'll pop up in a list.

To speed up the interface on any intel mac, boot in single user mode (command 's' at start up), and type "exit". It is going to take all the base Apple drivers delete them, and then reload them. It will then load into Tiger. Just make sure you restart from there and everything will be back to normal and hopefully faster. It did wonder from my 2.33GHz C2D, and all my Co-Workers MacBook Pros. It works amazingly well for some machines, and makes no difference for other machines.
P.S. Please do not try this if you are not comfortable in Single User Mode.

Hiro Nakamura, is that you?

Nice one.

Take a look through all the killer app threads around here on MR. Play with iLife. I didn't know how useful they all were until just a few weeks ago.

Install BootCamp/Parallels, you're a switcher.

Get more RAM, as already suggested. Get an ext. HDD. The MB hdd's just aren't big enough. Especially if you torrent alot.

And make sure you enjoy and play with it.

Congrats.
