Was sitting in the office and I was going to leave so I did unplug two usb c cables. On for usb c dock and one for display but when I did touch the cables and the mbp I did shock my mbp I did hear it even!
The display did show rainbow colors in some part of the display really fast then it was back to normal again.

I haven’t notice any issues with the mbp after that but I’m guessing that I did shock the mbp and the digital signal to the displays was interrupted by it.

Scary things my heart stoped and I could just think; please please don’t be broken.

My guess is that it’s nothing to worry abou right?

The shock is kind of normal here in Sweden during winter as the air is dry and so on.

I had this as well, like the tingling feeling when I touch my MacBook when plugged in.

happened quite often, last week I bought the power extension cord that has a piece of metal in de connector (the plug that we get doesn’t have that piece of metal) and exactly what I read here, the tingling sensation is gone.

I didn’t think anything about this, my mind was at ease, but unneeded a longer cable for schooldays, so after a year bought one and “killed 2 bugs with 1 stone”
