This on a 2018 12.9 IPP

Use the pencil and flick/drag *slightly diagonally up* from the bottom of either the left or right hand side of the screen. STart your pencil below the screen and flick up. About 1/2 way up you should get a click and various options, etc. Currently I'm using this to save in game screenshots directly to a flash drive.

When the screenshoot is taken, you get markup tools and the option to select either the screen or whole page. In the share menu, I copy the edited (now pdf file) to PDF expert, which is in my files location.

Hope this helps someone.

Definitely a nice feature. I think it came as part of iPadOS earlier this month.

Well this will save me some button pushin'. THANKS!

Does this only work on the 12.9 iPad Pro? I have an 11 inch and it won’t work on that, which is strange.

I dont have the 11 inch but I just tried it on the base 9.7 2018 model and it worked fine. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work on an 11 pro. iPad OS is iPad OS.

Thanks for this tip! This just made a key part of my workflow way easier.

Like others in this thread, I also found that it works on a 2018 9.7 iPad. I was surprised to have decent markup tools.

Yes, it works fine! Not sure what I was doing wrong! Thanks!
