I have my garmin app set to share info with health and I have also tried strava. but the only time that my bike riding goes towards exercise is from my apple watch. either passively from my raised heart rate from riding or if I record a bike ride on my apple watch. but if I have my watch turned off none of the info from garmin or strava is put towards exercise. all I would really want is the heart rate info and such to sync into health. that only gets added if I record a bike ride on my watch. the info from garmin does not do anything but shopw under workouts. none of the data is actually used in health.

the info from my garmin is a lot more accurate on distance and average speed and such then the apple watch is. only the heart rate is really accurate from the apple watch.

is there something I am missing?

Are you sure they're compatible with the Health app? You may have already done this, but you can check compatibility by going to Health app > Profile icon > Privacy > Apps to view if your other apps appear there.

cool. I just changed the source to strava and that would have done most of it. then I prioritized starva for cycling. garmin connect would not work but it uploads to strava. its weird garmin connect would show in workouts but sometimes it took days to show up sometimes that day but the data did nothing. ok got it changed over man thats not something most people would find. I wish the Apple Watch worked better with cycling but it kinda sucks and the battery drains faster .

thanks you fixed it. but I get double exercise minutes. the watch records no matter what it looks like. not sure how to stop this maybe turn off active energy in the strava heath category? or what?
