Hi guys,

I'm at a friend's machine, and he's running I.E. 5.1 under OS 9.2.2 with a Hermsted Webshuttle II ISDN connection.

The strange thing that keeps happening is that after a few minutes' use, Internet Explorer will start coming up with a dialogue box saying "the specified server could not be found" every time you click on a link (and the link doesn't load). I can't work out why this is happening, and I've checked the Apple Knowledge Base already.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I would imagine that the net connection throught the ISDN line is being reset after a few minutes - maybe rebooting the ISDN router could fix it - I used to have to reboot my ISDN router every day after it would re-lease it's IP from the DHCP server. Since I moved to cable, I've had no problems of the sort.
