Hey guys/girls...
*sigh* I guess there really isn't a purpose to this thread other than to let out a little of my bummed-out-ness.
I have had an iBook and Powerbook perviously both in perfect condition (in fact my dad uses the PowerBook now) and have never "broken" anything. The combo drive on my iBook died once, but that wasn't my fault.
Well I don't know what kind of bad luck I have with the MBP but something got under the CapsLock key so I took the key off to take out what was underneath. While taking of the key, I had broken off one of the hooks and hopefully I can stop by a computer store next weekend to get the key replaced...other wise it's $150 to get the entire keyboard replaces by Apple. I can't believe they don't have extra keys lying around at the Apple stores...
That's not the worse part though...I have my MBP open on the side of my bed at night and I use my phone as an alarm clock. So then one morning the alarm went off and my phone was charging behind my MBP so without looking, my hand went towards the direction of the sound to look for the phone to snooze it and I bashed the palm rest of my MBP. Now it's got a dent on the left palm rest. ARRGGHH this is bugging me so much!!!!!
