For mac to become something remotely near being a gaming platform, there need to be some mac-only games (new ones with original ideas).

wow, whata shocking revelation. so you mean that if more games are made for mac, then it will better be seen as a gaming platform? that an incredible epiphany.

it is, you see, no one will take mac seriously if there are about 20 games for it and they are all available for pc anyway, now if there were a few (5) good mac only games, it would not only make the mac more of a gaming device, but it would boost mac sales.
And Halo 1 was supposed to have mongooses (mongeese) so it would have effectively been Halo 3 on the Mac... therefore absolute dominance.
