I forgot what app i paid and itunes is not helping!

Alright guys, i am trying to help my mom to restore her iphone 3G. She is sharing an itunes account with my sister. I am trying to get all the apps that the account paid but how to i do it? I just remember one of the app's name that is paid and was trying to download it but itunes pops out a box saying pay or cancel. WTF? And there are two version of that app too WITH the same name. How the hack do i remember which one did i paid for?!?!?!

People often have success with contacting Apple customer service. Otherwise, you can go through all the old receipt e-mails or use iTunes to review your purchase history. Yeah, they should really implement a better system for this... maybe someday.

That's how it works. You say 'pay' and it downloads but doesn't charge you.

So, um...yeah, you REALLY need to figure out the right ones since it won't tell you if you're right before you click 'pay!'

Search whatever e-mail you used for it for messages from do_not_reply@apple.com.

If you still have them then those receipts will tell you everything you need to know.

OP, where the apps ever in Itunes? Does Itunes see the device? If so why can't you right click on the phone under deives and select: Transfer Purchases? I may not be understanding the exact issue you are having, so I am just guessing.
