I had mine still functioning on a custom OS with a new battery, but I was talked into loaning it to a friend and he sat on it day #2.
Updated a device to iOS 10 and it uses 2 security methods to identify an account. Since updating that other device the iOS 6 device keeps saying the passwords incorrect.
Works fine on the iOS 9-10 devices.
Did you enable that 2 step verification in iOS 10? Wondering if disabling it will fix the problem for me.

Btw over 10 hours it lost just 6% battery last night. For a seven year old phone it does pretty well and boy does it feel nice in the hand.
I usually just open in Photoshop, use Image Size to size it down and save a new file.
Preview on the Mac can do the same thing. In the Tools menu.
EDIT: Sorry. I assume two things in this.
Usually when I take a pic I want to upload here (or a screenshot) I open Dropbox first (after taking the pic or screenshot). I have Dropbox set to upload my photos. Since Dropbox is running on all my computers, whatever one I am using at the moment is where I will open either Preview or Photoshop to size down and then upload here.
On the phone itself, Photoshop Express may be able to do it. IDK. I've never resized a pic on the device itself. Usually, there's a computer nearby wherever I am.
