Yes this will be my first mac as well as notebook(I've only had some breif use of a powermac g3 running OS 9 and the first version of OS X). I was going to wait untill leopard, and wait for merom... but you know what there is sooooooooooooooooo much new tech that will be out in the next 2-3 years there's no point in waiting. Not to mention how long it could be for all software is 64 bit optimized(which from what i understand can run slower than 32 bit software because it may over load the cache).
Sadly Carbon Computers my local reseller is out of stock of the 2.0 ghz models so I have one on order(no strings attached) should be in sometime this week. Now all I need is a good case and a router.
