You'll be walking into a mine field of cow moos, overheat temps, squeaky hinges, misaligned case parts, random shut downs, click bars that don't click, keyboard keys that don't work, yellow stains, screen bezels that come off, and .........................

It will drive you to ...

Enjoi your new machine. Will it be your first taste of the Apple? If not, what have you had previously?

But I still wouldn't recommend one until the Revision B comes out next Tuesday.

haha... no harm done. I do agree that the Rev A MacBooks haven't been as perfect as they could have been.

Yes this will be my first mac as well as notebook(I've only had some breif use of a powermac g3 running OS 9 and the first version of OS X). I was going to wait untill leopard, and wait for merom... but you know what there is sooooooooooooooooo much new tech that will be out in the next 2-3 years there's no point in waiting. Not to mention how long it could be for all software is 64 bit optimized(which from what i understand can run slower than 32 bit software because it may over load the cache).

Sadly Carbon Computers my local reseller is out of stock of the 2.0 ghz models so I have one on order(no strings attached) should be in sometime this week. Now all I need is a good case and a router.
