um so my girlfriends sister had recieved an imac from someone...and they told her it has a failing logic board and the graphix card is just about gone...since im new to the mac world "typing this on my new macbook" wtf do i need to do to fix this and how much will it run me...is it worth it? and how do i find out its specs. cuz i cant check it on the computer...idk how big the hd is...how much ram it has...or ghz. PLEASE HELP THE NOOB


EDIT: i got it to come on clear...its a 1.8 gz power pc g5 2gb ddr sdramanny
 
Pictures of said Mac? What about reading the serial and factory specifications off of it? Also don't post the serial number here.
 
i'm no technician, but a failed logic board is just about the most costly item to fix.... it could get pretty expensive.
