I love my awesome ATV also!! way beyond my expectations. The audio is amazing and the streaming speed is so fast. Best Netflix integration from everything else I've tried.
I haven't received mine yet (delivers Oct. 18
) but the Netflix integration does look like the best of what's available (from what I've seen).

Used all day yesterday:
Played synced up music throughout the place all day. Control from anywhere with iPhone or iPad.
Caught up on last three episodes of Mad Men, season subscription on iTunes (no cable), on my LCD rather than iPad or messing with cables to plug in laptop. Picture and sound were both great.
I bought the Apple TV because I was tired of the PS3 disc from Netflix messing up at inopportune times. Haven't even had time to watch instantly yet, but Netflix is all signed on and ready to go.
While I think the $99 is underpriced, as long as it lasts it will allow significant penetration into homes. Then increased functionality and more available programming = another big success for

.Yeah this update is already here in Canada when Netflix was released here. It's actually pretty good and it was my first experience with Netflix.
The only difference between ATV2 and PS3 for Netflix is that the PS3 version knows which episode you left off on, so when you go back to a TV show you can start watching without having to look at the description. Kind of a nice feature, hopefully Apple will add it in the future.
The actual interface is a lot nicer on the ATV2 though.
Love mine as well. I had the first generation, and I set it up for streaming. Maybe I had done something wrong, but one thing that always bothered me with streaming is that I could only fast-forward by whatever amount was in the cache. Now, however, I can fast-forward as much as I want as soon as the movie/show starts, which, while maybe a small improvement, makes the whole experience much more enjoyable.
I have to admit, price point and picture quality are good. They still have some issues to fix, though. If this Apple TV 2 had Apple tv 1's way of accessing content (homesharing sucks) and handling of iTunes metadata, it would be as close to perfection as you can get...
Tis great. Needed something to get content off my computer and never wanted to pay $230 for the old ATV to do it and never wanted to buy the over-priced dock/av cables for my ipod (never mind that solution didn't have a 10 ft interface.)
So $99 really sold me.
Netflix is a pleasant bonus.
It's not perfect. I mean I wish that little remote controlled volume on my TV. I hope they can patch that in. Control the volume on the ATV hardware/software side at least.
And I wish you could buy more content from this device. All sorts of content.
Then, for example, I could put this into my son's room for a low cost of $99 and he could watch content we have, watch Netflix and I could rent him a few of the current shows he wants to watch.
So that's bogus.
The other downside is it's another box. Another interface. Another input. MY 360 can technically do most of what ATV does or at least Netflix and the streaming. But I haven't liked these 3rd party streaming programs much and they do cost $20 themselves. 1/5 of what the ATV cost. The 360 even the newest one is much louder than an ATV. And the media streaming interface on the 360 isn't as nice nor is the Netflix interface. And I'd rather use the Apple remote than the 360 controller for media watching. (Never mind the kids and wife.)
GTV has the right idea of trying to become one interface across everything. Whether it succeeds with a separate box and IR solution or not is another question. But I think that is ultimately the right idea.
Oh and text entry on the ATV sucks with the little remote obviously.
But for streaming from computer, Netflix and even YouTube it works pretty well. Fine for renting movies too ('save the price.)
So $99 really sold me.

The combination of this and the new remote app for iPad is truly an awesome experience.
My 3 year old son can pick out one of his shows or songs all on his own.
The netflix integration is way better than roku, wdtv live, or ps3.
I really like the home sharing. Being able to surf through content on multiple macs and then playing it instantly is really nice.
Even all my digital copy movies look really good. And the HD videos of the kids have never looked better.
Does anyone want to buy a roku HD, only 2 months old.

Mine was scheduled to be delivered Tuesday Oct 5. However, it got delivered this past Friday. YAY!
It does pretty much all I wanted it to do: stream Netflix and my tunes. I know that the Roku box can do some other things, but I either don't care for those or require it to do things it doesn't do. Therefore, couldn't be happier with theTV
