Every time I swipe down my finger goes over those little icons on the right and I go into a part I don’t want to be in. It’s not just me that has this problem, everyone I speak to has said the same thing. I just want to go back to IOS 17 it is that annoying, I was wondering is there any way I can roll back? It’s even more annoying than that stupid torch icon that everyone accidentally presses and walks around without knowing.

Thanks.

Change it to what suits you. You can get rid of said buttons on both the Lock Screen and Control Center.

Could you post a screenshot so we know what you are talking about?
The OP is talking about the three icons to the right of the control center icons. Swipe down and you have a heart, music and cell icon, with the heart being the main page. As has happened to me a few times, when you swipe down, sometimes it goes past the heart and goes to the music or cell icons. Then you have to swipe back up to the heart icon to get to your main control center icons.

He wants to go back to iOS 17, which isn’t possible on iPhone 16, assuming that’s what the OP has. Any other iPhone model should be able to downgrade.

Haven't updated yet as waiting for .4 or .5... but would swiping down further left avoid the issue?

As is, swipe right of center and it summons control center. But swipe left of center and it won't. Perhaps these new little icons would work the same way?

Or maybe OP is wanting traditional control center and perhaps swiping a little further left of where they are does that?

Luckily the OP doesn’t have to downgrade to address this issue. Just remove all the toggles by pressing the + button and the page will disappear.

I didn't like it either, way over engineered for a pull down control centre IMO. So I simplified mine right back to a single view like this:
