I found this screensaver minimalist analog clock by google image search:
Image
It takes me to a blog page and then for download to: Download page
But it seems too nice, url name is strange, and other links on the page open empty pages.
Is there a way to check the download file? malware?

As you noticed, that url is full of red flags.

Simple rule of IT security: When in doubt, don't click\download

That url is full of red flags and takes you to a fake app store page
Thx, I thought so, "its too good to be true" it would be more popular otherwise.
How do I check an url for "red flags"? if you don't mind.

What about this one: Padbury clock

Those really long urls mentioning warez content or some random words, lot of redirects, .info domains are also considered a bit shady, although there are many legitimate websites using them, text that doesn't make much sense, etc.

Some times it's trickier to spot so you have to go with your feeling or just ask here or somewhere else.

They look ok, but I take no responsibility 😅
