So i have this GREAT idea for the german App-Store (hint: something about saving HUGE cost)

but I have no programming skills whathowever, would someone be internested in teaming up, and making this idea become real (50/50 revenue split)

The app, has to be able to send a txt, and display only 1 particular part of the then received txt , the txt's syntax is always the same! ;) It shouldn'tbe too hard!! :D

I can't recall the site, but I'm sure if you searched google you could find it. Essentially you post what you want made, developers will bid on it and you can choose the winning bid, then have them build it and you get the final product, no 50/50 split... BTW a lot of App's in the store do not make any money, maybe offer the app as an incentive to visit the website, then use ad revenue on the website to make money?

You don't have access to the SMS API or database. What you want can't be done with "true" SMS.

And no developer would give you half the money while you do none of the work. Ideas are a dime a dozen.

Maybe in the app store, but not in real life. Some technology entrepreneur's might not be able to program but they employ programmers to work for them.

Yes, on a flat fee, or an hourly rate. Not a percentage of possible (not guaranteed) sales.

1. Form a company such as an LLC
2. Have a lawyer draft a non-disclosure agreement or see if there are pre-packaged agreements that are sold for your state
3. Place an add in Craigslist or go to one of the Freelance sites and find programmers willing to sign an NDA and code for a percentage of the profit.

Exactly. I've been doing professional development for almost 10 years now. No one with just an idea will get a percentage as high as 50%. Any developer that would agree to such terms is out of his/her mind. And even outside in "the real world" there are always plenty of ideas but without the know-how to implement them. An idea is one thing, making it real is another.
