if lets say, im about to meet with someone in few hours.
and i go to settings, reset, then delete all content and settings.
would this delete all info (such as, contacts, email, sms, calendars...) but still keep cydia in there? and maybe all the apps that are jailbroken?

but im a noob.
can you tell me more dirrectly how do i do it to get what i want?
i want nothing there at all.. no info nothing. except for the apps that come with phone and cydia.

Yes, if you enter Settings > General > Reset, and click on "Erase all Content and Settings," it will remove all user pertinent data restoring factory settings.

Hope this helps!

I also had a question about this. Mine is unlocked, i need it to remain that way, but I need all my e-mail, SMS, etc. to be off. I need my apps to stay though, like AIM and Facebook, but I need all the data to be cleared.

Will using that setting re-lock the phone?
